HYDMECH’s H-14A Automatic Horizontal Band Saw comes specially equipped with a carbide tipped blade and will out perform anything in it’s class. This is a fully automatic band saw with hydraulic full stroke vises. With a 1 ¼” blade and 14″ x 14″ capacity, the ideal band saw for all your metal cutting needs.
The H-14A features a powerful 8.8 HP variable frequency drive motor and a heavy duty 2 stage gearbox, controlled by an AC inverter drive. Blade speed is easily adjusted from the control console and a wide range of available band speeds allows for a clean cut across many types of material. Replaceable carbide insert guides housed in two heavy duty cast iron guide arms provide a cut accuracy of / – .002″ per linear inch of material and excellent vibration dampening. Hydraulic saw guides are set automatically.
The cast iron side guide arm is mechanically connected to the front vise movable. This provides proper positioning of the guide arm spacing, in relation to material width, at all times. The H-14A has a heavy-duty shuttle vise powered by a ball screw and vector motor. This provides material indexing up to 19″ in a single stroke with multi-indexing capability.
