The HYDMECH VW-18 Semi-automatic Vertical Band Saw features a compact design that delivers versatility and superior performance on all your metal cutting applications. An important feature is the Quick Change Column which is standard on the new Series II. This allows the saw head column to be easily set upright at 90° or at a 3° forward cant. There is an easy to read angle scale and is equipped with stops at 60°.
The HYDMECH VW-18 Series II is a semi-automatic vertical band saw with the ability to miter from 60° left to 60° right. Featuring a 22″H x 18″W capacity, 5 HP motor, and 1 1/4″ blade, the VW18 II is a reliable choice for all your light to medium-duty, vertical metal cutting applications.
The VW-18 vertical bandsaw comes complete with an 18″ x 20″ capacity, 1 1/4″ blade, new ergonomic design, variable blade speed controled by a variable frequency drive, full 45° left and right angle mitering, telescopic operators control panel, large easy to read angle scale, 5 hp motor, hydraulic vise control and weighs in at 3,500 lbs. The new adjustable saw head can cut at 90° and be adjusted to cut at a 3° cant.
A 5HP hydraulic pump supplies system pressure and coolant flow. A 12-gallon coolant reservoir delivers ample coolant flow through carbide faced and nozzle guides.
